Meet the owners of a proud legacy, breeding excellence with our Camfield Brangus herd
Chris Simpson is an owner and director of VSP. He is also a skilled tradesman, builder, project manager, and is proud of what has been established now with Camfield Brangus and Vandeleur Simpson Pastoral. The journey continues, with the foundations firmly in place. With every calving season, Vandeleur Simpson Pastoral aims for its place in the Australian Brangus story—quietly, steadily building a legacy from the ground up.
Chris proudly states “Paul and Betty Vandeleur have inspired us and continue to inspire in us the pioneering spirit that has been a part of the continued growth of the Brahman and Brangus history across Australia”.
Ann (Vandeleur) an owner director, is the eldest daughter of Paul & Betty Vandeleur, pioneers of the cattle industry in Australia in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
They were pioneers who introduced Brahman cattle to their herd in the sixties and built Camfield Station that is now a part of AACo, a national conglomerate in Beef production in Australia.
As members of the association we are proud to continue our breeding program with the Camfield name established by the Vandeleur Family in the 50’s in the Northern Territory.
