Once seen as the realm of tech start-ups and hobbyists, drones are now soaring over fields and paddocks, transforming how farmers restore soil health, boost biodiversity, and build climate resilience.

The agronomist who attended our property amid the drought recommended a range of seeds to plant; however, the challenges of the rocky and undulating terrain was a major issue. Based on this we contacted a contractor who specialised in seeding and fertilising using drone technology.

From precision seeding of cover crops to targeted fertiliser application, drones are delivering faster, smarter, and more sustainable solutions that align perfectly with the core principles of regenerative agriculture here at VSP.

We were the first in the district to attempt this methodology by exploring how the fusion of ancient land stewardship practices with 21st-century innovation can heal the land—one flight at a time!
